A record shattered, with more heat to come in Las Vegas

Posted

Temperatures soared Sunday with a record high 120 degrees measured at Harry Reid Airport in the afternoon. The previous all-time record in Las Vegas was 117, last hit in July of 2021.

High pressure remains in the region over the next week keeping our temps well above average. An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect through Thursday. Stay safe by limiting outdoor exposure, and staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water and electrolytes.
