LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A woman has died nearly a month after a crash near downtown Las Vegas.
The crash happened on Jan. 5 at 11:51 a.m. at N. Eastern Ave. and Harris Ave.
Investigators determined a 2021 GMC Sierra pick-up truck was approaching the intersection and hit a woman who was crossing S. Eastern Ave. in a marked crosswalk. The woman was thrown onto the road and was taken to University Medical Center's Trauma Unit to be treated.
On Thursday, Las Vegas police said they were informed by the Clark County coroner that the woman had died. Her death is the 18th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD's jurisdiction so far this year.
