There are several ongoing construction projects around the Las Vegas valley.
Las Vegas Boulevard between Cathedral Way and Riviera Boulevard will continue to see lane closures through Aug. 5 due to ongoing flood control improvements related to the Convention Center Drive improvement project.
The Nevada Department of Transportation will repair bridge deck spalls along southbound Interstate 15 between Washington Avenue and Alta Drive in Las Vegas from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m., Aug. 2 through Aug. 4. There will be shifting lane restrictions, as a result. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone, heed construction signage and take alternate routes, if possible.
NDOT will also be installing portable precast concrete barrier rails along the median and right shoulder of southbound U.S. Highway 93 between Access Road and the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino in Henderson nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., resulting in alternating lane restrictions.
