LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A new traffic light is being installed today at Buffalo Drive and Sunset Road in the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley.
Parents who live in the area have been asking for the light for years because of the potential danger.
Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft also told 13 Action News that it has been frustrating for how long it has taken.
Much needed traffic signals now up and running at a busy intersection in the SW Las #Vegas Valley. Cmsr. @MichaelNaft flipped the switch at Buffalo and Sunset early this morning in his district. Just north of 215, this is a growing area with many businesses and new residents. pic.twitter.com/KGdjbRUD5u
