A meeting is being held Thursday to look at alternatives along Interstate 515, also known as U.S. 95, through downtown Las Vegas.
The meeting is being held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the East Las Vegas Community Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave.
The Nevada Department of Transportation is holding a public information meeting about the Interstate 515 Alternatives Development Study, soliciting input on proposed operational and safety upgrades through downtown Las Vegas, from I-15 to Charleston Boulevard along I-515.
Goals call for improved mobility, downtown access and safety with minimal property acquisition, traffic disruptions and environmental impacts.
Project NEON representatives will also be on-hand to provide project updates.
