JEAN (KTNV) — The Interstate 15 has reopened after a fiery, suspected DUI crash caused an hours-long closure on the freeway Friday morning.
Nevada State police say the crash was caused when a pickup truck driving the wrong way on the I-15 hit a semi-truck head-on near Jean around 2:45 a.m.
The northbound lanes reopened shortly before 10 a.m.
NSP says troopers first responded to reports that a Ford pick-up truck was traveling the wrong way near I-15 and St. Rose Parkway.
The crash happened on I-15 and mile marker 15, just north of Jean.
Troopers say the semi-truck caught fire.
Both drivers are stable, authorities say.
