LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A crash on the I-15 is causing major delays in traffic Tuesday morning.
The crash happened near Tropicana in the northbound lanes around 6:18 a.m.
This crash involved a black Nissan SUV and a white Freeway Service Patrol vehicle. The freeway worker was out of his vehicle assisting a motorist when his vehicle was struck from behind.
The freeway worker was not hit or injured. The Nissan driver reported injuries and was taken to a local area hospital in serious condition.
The three left lanes are now blocked as authorities respond, and traffic backups can be seen as far south as Blue Diamond.
