UPDATE JULY 6: Newly crowned UFC Hall of Famer Matt Serra spoke to 13 Action News about the now viral video that shows him pinning a man to the ground inside of a Red Rock restaurant.
ORIGINAL STORY: UFC legend, MMA coach, and soon-to-be Hall of Famer Matt Serra was enjoying a meal at the Red Rock hotel-casino's Grand Cafe on July 4 when he noticed two people, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, causing a scene near his table.
Serra recorded their actions and provided some funny commentary about their difficult situation.
Serra's next Instagram video was drastically different from the first. The second showed Serra mounted on top of a man on the floor of the restaurant. He appears to be trying to calm the man down and hold him to the floor long enough for security to step in. Serra can be seen laughing as he is pinning the squirming man.
Serra then hands the man over to security and returns his meal.
Who would've thought that Serra would have one more wrestling match in him on the weekend of his UFC hall of fame induction?
