The group asking for tax dollars to pay for the stadium and Davis then carrying the ball closer to midfield himself when he told that committee he was dedicated to Las Vegas just a month later.

Eventually state lawmakers got Las Vegas in scoring position approving the 1.9 billion dollar plan.

Also passing the bill needed to fund the $750 million public portion of the stadium.

The effort to bring the raiders sent backwards when Oakland city leaders worked to keep the team in California and Adelson along with Goldman Sachs announced they were pulling out of the deal.

Fast forward to 2020....The entertainment capital of the world is now the new capital city of Raider Nation.
