Ahead of the NHL Board of Governors meeting next week, the Stanley Cup and other hockey trophies are on display in Las Vegas.
Various hockey awards are being showcased at the Hard Rock hotel-casino through 2 p.m. Tuesday while the Stanley Cup will be on display starting at noon Monday.
The Board of Governors will be in Las Vegas Wednesday for the 2016 NHL Awards, taking place inside The Joint at the Hard Rock. They are expected to make a decision on whether Las Vegas will get a hockey team before the awards.
