LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — With the start of the NFL Draft amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Criss Angel has pledged to match Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock’s donation of $1,000 for each NFL Draft pick the team makes for the upcoming season, to COVID-19 related community assistance.

Following the three-day event, the illusionist’s charitable donation will be made to the Clark County “Delivering with Dignity” program, assisting those who are financially unable to meet their food needs during these unprecedented times.

“Las Vegas has been deeply impacted by the Coronavirus and its effects on the economy, so it’s important we stand together as a community and help those in need during this time of uncertainty,” said Criss. “I was so inspired by Mike Mayock’s generous donation and I’m humbled to join the Raiders in their mission to aid Coronavirus relief.”

The Clark County Delivering with Dignity program, helmed by Clark County Commission Chairman Marilyn Kirkpatrick and community partners, is an emergency response system to provide meals to Clark County’s most vulnerable residents. Nonprofit agencies are identifying clients who most need the program and are at the highest risk for being exposed to COVID-19 if they leave their homes, following the CDC guidelines.
