Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis is optimistic his team could move to Las Vegas.
He says the team has been conducting market research studies about the move and initial reports come back positive.
"I have given my commitment to Las Vegas and if they can get done what they're talking about doing, then we will go to Las Vegas," Davis said.
Davis wants to move the team as he has been struggling on getting a new stadium built in Oakland. Davis has given no timetable for the potential move.
Last month, Davis pledged $500 million for a new stadium in Las Vegas.
However, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell calls the move premature.
"My understanding is that there is not a proposal," he said. "Two theres a great deal of work that needs to be done before ownership can make that kind of consideration."
