Raiders fans gathered at Legends Sports Bar in Las Vegas to witness the much-anticipated announcement.

On Monday in Phoenix, the NFL owners voted and approved the relocation of the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas.

"It's Christmas times a thousand, this is just unbelievable," said Raiders fan Big John.

Later in the day, fans also gathered outside the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign in celebration of the team's move to the city.

While at the Las Vegas sign, Yazmine and Alex Meakin got married amidst the Raiders madness. It was their first time in America from the United Kingdom where they witnessed Las Vegas history.

The Fremont Street Experience canopy also recognized Las Vegas' newest team.

For many fans, the Raiders move feels like a dream.

Joe Goldberg is a diehard fan who grew up in Las Vegas. He once had a telling conversation with Al Davis, the late Raiders owner.

"I asked him 'When are you going to come down and do a preseason game in Vegas? We'd love it,'" Goldberg recalled. "He said, 'I'd love to be down there.'"
