Despite a 98 degree day, Vegas Golden Knights fans attended the outdoor Stanley Cup game three watch party in droves.

The event took place on T-Mobile Plaza directly outside of T-Mobile Arena where the 2018 NHL Western Division Champion Golden Knights play and featured the Vegas Golden Knights versus the Washington Capitals on an enormous screen and plenty of vendors. Pre-game, Rapper Lil Jon performed for the crowd to get things started. Fans say the atmosphere was something to be experienced and that support for the team is simply "amazing."

As for the near 100 degree heat, fans didn't seem to bothered by it. In fact, a number of them even took pride in the sweltering temperatures and saying that it's just a "Vegas thing."

The Vegas Golden Knights' next game against the Washington Capitals will be on Monday, June 4. That game's official watch party will be at the Downtown Events Center presented by The D Las Vegas.  Puck drop will be at 5 P.M.
