LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Aces avoided elimination from the WNBA Playoffs once again Sunday afternoon, defeating the Washington Mystics, 92-75.
Mandalay Bay Events Center was rocking with Aces fans. It was arguably the loudest the arena has been all season long.

Marco Benvenuti was in attendance. He sits court side sporting a shiny Aces jacket and "Liz Vegas" jersey, paying homage to Aces center Liz Cambage.
When it comes to the Aces, Benvenuti has seen it all. His reaction to Dearica Hamby's game-winning buzzer-beater shot against the Chicago Sky in the second round of the playoffs went viral. The clip was even featured on Sportscenter with Scott Van Pelt.

Benvenuti was impressed by what saw on the court Sunday.
"This is a statement win. I think they played the best game," said Benvenuti.
It was a team effort, but the Aces were led by stars Liz Cambage and A'ja Wilson combined for 49 of the team's 92 points.

"We knew coming back here, we have our fans to lift us up," Cambage said after the game. "We have our homecourt. We just had to get the job done tonight."
The Aces still have business to take care of.
No team in WNBA history has ever comeback to win a series after being down 0-2 in a series. While the Aces avoided a sweep, they need a win Tuesday to even the series.
UPDATE: The Mystics beat the Aces, 94-90, Tuesday night eliminating Vegas from the playoffs. Washington will face the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA Finals.
