LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Earlier this year A'ja Wilson from the Las Vegas Aces was selected to be one of the team captains in the 2019 AT&T All-Star Game.
After suffering an ankle injury on July 19 against the Seattle Storm, there was speculation that Wilson might not captain the team.
Aces have confirmed while Wilson will not be playing in the match up, due to injury, she will still be the captain of Team Wilson.

The WNBA All-Star Game will take place at 12:30 p.m. on July 27 from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Fans are encouraged to take part in Fan Fest inside the Islander Ballroom at the Mandalay Bay at 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 26 and 11a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 27. Fan fest is free and open to the public.
Tickets are still available for purchase online or at the Mandalay Bay box office.
