Las Vegas Aces sign contract extension with Dearica Hamby

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Aces announced today that the team has signed two-time sixth woman of the year Dearica Hamby to a contract extension through the 2022 season.

Since making the move to the Aces 3 season ago Hamby has averaged 10 points per game and 6 rebounds per game.

The past two years she has been even better averaging nearly 12 points and 7 rebounds per game.

“Dearica has been a huge part of the Aces rise to championship contender since the team moved to Las Vegas, particularly over the past two years, and last season’s run to the WNBA Finals,” said Las Vegas Aces President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Bill Laimbeer. “She brings an energy to the court that is infectious not only to her teammates but also to our fans, and we are excited to be able to extend her contract through the 2022 season."
