LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- The puck drops on the Vegas Golden Knights' third season tonight at T-Mobile Arena.
It all started off as "hockey would never work in the desert" then quickly turned into "oh yeah, hockey works in the desert."
As the team starts off their third season, gone are the days of the underdog mentality, now this team is bringing in some of the biggest ticket prices in the NHL.

The Golden Knights are set to showdown with their division rival San Jose Sharks with a 7:30 p.m. puck drop inside the Fortress.
Fresh off their dominating preseason win over the Sharks, the Golden Knights look to open the season with another impressive win.
The team announced their official 2019-20 season opener line up yesterday on twitter.
