The Vegas Golden Knights are hosting You Can Play Night on Saturday, Oct. 20, in conjunction with Hockey Is For Everyone when they take on the Anaheim Ducks at 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena.
You Can Play is a campaign dedicated to ensuring equality, respect and safety for all athletes without regard to sexual orientation or gender identity. Hockey Is For Everyone is a league-wide initiative to provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment for players and families regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation and socio-economic status
Colin Miller is serving as the Golden Knights Hockey Is For Everyone player ambassador.
On Saturday, players will be able to use rainbow tape on their sticks for warmups to later be auctioned off, with all proceeds benefiting You Can Play.
Rainbow Golden Knights T-shirts will also be sold outside sections 10 and 11 to benefit the Human Rights Campaign of Las Vegas.
