The Golden Knights kicked off their second season by throwing a massive party for fans.

Hundreds of fans attended Fan Fest at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, hoping to get some face time - and maybe an autograph - from some of their favorite players.

Players piled out of stretch limousines to walk the red carpet, which stretched from one end of the outdoor center to the other. Fans lined the red carpet with pictures, t-shirts, pucks and other memorabilia they hoped to have signed by players.

Golden Knights goalie Marc-Andre Fleury said Fan Fest was a great opportunity for the players to meet the fans who make T-Mobile such a special place to play.

"Sometimes we act like we don't hear anything [in the arena] but we do," Fleury said. "T-Mobile is a great place to play."

Still in preseason, the Golden Knights open the regular season at home on October 4.
