LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Chicago Blackhawks tonight in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup playoffs round 1 with a score of 4-3.
The game was a nail-biter for fans as the two teams went back and forth scoring goals.
It was tied up 3-3 heading into the 3rd period.
The Golden Knights took the lead with a goal from Alex Tuch in the 3rd period and that was enough to hang on for the win.
The team is the first to punch their ticket to round 2 of the playoffs and now wait to see who they will face in the next round.
