With the Vegas Golden Knights looking to stay perfect in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, fans are hoping prices for tickets to game 2 against the San Jose Sharks will drop.
24 hours before the puck dropped StubHub, the Golden Knights official ticket marketplace, said the average price of tickets sold for Saturday's matchup sits at $284.
More than 2,000 tickets remained on the market as of that point with the lowest price sitting in the $170 range.
"The Vegas Golden Knights have been the most in-demand tickets in the NHL all season," Jessica Erskine with StubHub said.
StubHub statistics show 52 percent of the tickets sold through the service went to Nevadans, with just 16 percent going to Californians.

After game one, some fans pointing out the key to scoring a great price is to wait until minutes before the puck drops.
One 13 Action News employee found tickets for $109 just 30 minutes before the start of game 1.
Erskine acknowledges prices typically fall shortly before any event starts.
The company pointing fans to a feature that sends notifications when ticket prices fall below a pre-set threshold.
They also recommend not buying tickets on the street, because they are not refundable and can not be guaranteed.
