The Vegas Golden Knights will celebrate Nevada Day on Oct. 27, with a 3 p.m. matinee game against the Colorado Avalanche. To help make the Nevada Day game experience unique, the Golden Knights will premiere their white road jerseys on home ice for the first time.
Nevada Day is a state-recognized public holiday celebrated on the final Friday of October every year to recognize the state’s admission to the union.
“As a Vegas born team, we’re looking forward to celebrating our state’s history during our inaugural Nevada Day game on Friday, Oct. 27,” said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. “Students have the day off from school, and we hope the kids and their families are able to enjoy a great afternoon of matinee hockey at T-Mobile Arena.”
Nevada state residents have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of lower level tickets for the Nevada Day game starting at the price of $ 70.20 by visiting vegasgoldenknights.com. [vegasgoldenknights.com]
