With the COVID-19 vaccine expected to be available soon, an internet security expert is warning hackers are targeting the supply chain.
Michael Bruemmer of the Experian Data Breach Resolution Group says cyber-criminals are trying to hack into vaccine networks.
Among the targets, distribution companies that operate refrigerated trucks and warehouses.
He says, "Russia, China as well as North Korea, have already infiltrated the cold chain environment system that is being put together to have the 40 different companies that are making vaccine get distribution across the world."

He goes on to say cyber-criminals are also spreading disinformation about vaccine safety.
As the vaccine roll out gets underway, Bruemmer cautions people to seek news from government sources and trusted news outlets.
