Now that president-elect Joe Biden has formed a COVID-19 advisory board, many are wondering what new national policies we may see in the fight against the pandemic.
Dr. John Andrus, an epidemiologist with the George Washington University School of Public Health, says possible COVID response changes in a Biden Administration include:
- A national mask mandate.
- More federal guidance for governors and mayors.
- Increased reliance on international public health groups.
- An increase in contact tracing and testing supplies.
Economic relief will also be a major topic in Washington in the coming months.
Stimulus checks are still a possibility under the trump administration.
