LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — We've seen many small businesses shutdown or scale back in recent months.

But one Ohio mom says the pandemic is the reason she's actually expanding her business.

Ashley Wynn started "Busy Boss Bakery" as a side gig on social media.

But when hours were cut back at her full-time job due to COVID, she says she decided to take a leap of faith.

She's taken her life savings and is now opening up her own shop.

Ashley says she hopes this experience teaches her children to follow their dreams.

Unfortunately her husband recently lost his job.

So Ashley says her family is counting on her, and she plans to do whatever it takes to succeed.
