LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — We know a lot of you are job hunting these days. So as we work to rebound from COVID-19, we're making it our mission to help you. 13 Action News anchor Ross DiMattei looks at a local call center that's now hiring.

"We really are looking for individuals that are looking for a career, and not just a job," says Site Director Cassidy Klundt with Sitel Las Vegas.

MASS HIRING

Sitel is a local call center providing customer care for a number of different industries. The company says it's in the unique position to do some mass hiring because their clients are experiencing a growing demand for customer support.

"We're hiring over 300 positions just over the next couple of months," says Klundt.

That's great news for job seekers like newly hired employee, Kelly Stancliff, who recently moved to the valley.

"I came to Las Vegas with a job. But it did not work out because of Covid. So I started searching... Just really took this time to focus on what I wanted to do," Kelly.

"BE A GOOD LISTENER"

Kelly found Sitel and says it really works for her as a "people person."

"You definitely have to love your clients and have empathy and be a good listener," says Kelly.

LOOKING FOR WIDE-RANGE OF APPLICANTS

The company says it's looking for a wide-range of experienced applicants.

"We're gonna be guiding you through an assessment process that's going to gauge what skill sets you're carrying with you and can offer right out of the gate. That will help us align you to what client opportunity we have available," says Klundt.

EMPLOYEE SAFETY A TOP PRIORITY

Sitel wants anyone interested to also know, employee safety is a top priority. That's why the company is offering a mix of at-home and at-work opportunities, along with taking other precautions.

"We've implemented a lot of measures over the last two months. We have masks upon request, temperature checks at the doors. We have strict protocol around social distancing, where we have constant monitoring throughout the entire facility," says Klundt.
