LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — If you're looking for a job right now, don't under-estimate the impact of your social media.

Career Coach Dana Glasgo says when you're looking for a job, what you post on social media is part of the interview. Updating your LinkedIn profile is critical to keeping companies interested since that's where most hiring managers go first.

Glasgo says make sure you hvae an updated and professional picture. Also, include two or three strong references and make sure your resume matches your LinkedIn profile.

Also be careful with other casual platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Avoid posting about politics and religion.
