LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — If you're getting a little tired of playing teacher for your kids, more than $75,000 worth of free tutoring sessions are up for grabs for C.C.S.D. families.

Club Z! Tutoring Services has partnered with the school district to provide scholarships to more than 1,100 families in the Las Vegas Valley.

These scholarships will be in the form of free virtual tutoring sessions. Those sessions could be classes to help kids develop lifelong study habits, a two-hour ACT/SAT boot camp, or a session for parents to help them become better distance learning teachers.

Tom Embrogno, the owner of Club Z!, says he knows a lot of families are struggling during this pandemic and this is the best way he knows how to help.

"There's enough stress with normal life, let alone what we've had piled on us and then the school work. We've heard from a lot of families that studying was causing a lot of grief in the household. It really got to my heart," said Embrogno.

These scholarships are exclusively available to C.C.S.D. students and parents, and they're being given out on a first come, first serve basis. If you want to sign up for a free session, click this link.
