The stress over COVID-19 has led strangers to fight about following CDC guidelines. However, despite all of the rules and guidelines, some people elect to attend so-called COVID-19 parties.
Licensed therapist Jamie Bronstein believes young people go to these parties to be exposed. This can be because they fall into peer pressure or they truly believe the virus doesn't exist.
It's important to help your kids realize they're not invincible. Bronstein says sit down with your kids and have a discussion about decision making and consequences.
You want to talk with your children, not to them. And you want to make sure to listen and help them feel heard.
