Jay Tan, a local licensed nurse practitioner and assistant professor at UNLV, is making face shields and masks for hospital workers.

The local Filipino American community has helped Tan, who has donated the masks to UMC, Southern Hills, Centennial, Desert Springs, and the Comprehensive Cancer Center.
