LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — For most kids, you can find them riding bikes or playing video games. However, for 10-year-old Victor Van Meer, you can find him juggling schoolwork and running his own business.

Van Meer is CEO of Victor’s Doggy Cookies with a mission to feed every single shelter dog.

Alongside his father, Van Meer bakes doggy cookie creations made from fresh, organic, human-grade ingredients including peanut butter, apples, and honey; that keep dogs happy and healthy. Victor’s cookies are baked and prepared locally in a professional-grade kitchen and are free of corn, wheat, soy, gluten, hormones, artificial flavors, and preservatives.

Van Meer was inspired by his own two rescue dogs named Grayson and Lily. Both dogs were one day away from being euthanized before Van Meer and his family adopted and made both dogs a part of their family.

This pivotal moment in young Van Meer’s life resulted in his personal promise to help shelter dogs, just like Grayson and Lily.

Each month, Victor’s Doggy Cookies selects a new shelter to support.

Nevada SPCA was a recent recipient of a donation from Victor himself from proceeds of his cookie sales. The donation from Victor’s Cookies was used towards the purchase of food for animals currently housed at the shelter.
