LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A vintage penny sold for more than $660,000 on the Las Vegas Strip.
The coin is very rare, from 1793, and was sold at the Bellagio on Thursday.
It's only the fourth time this coin has sold at auction since 1890. The penny was first purchased at auction for $77.50 in October 1877.
Over the decades, the coin has been owned by several different collectors.
