LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Some first-graders at Robert Taylor Elementary School in Henderson got to show off their reading skills to dogs.
As part of Nevada Reading Week, the kids virtually read to the pups from the Heaven Can Wait Animal Society on Thursday.
The school says reading to animals is a good way for kids to feel comfortable as they practice the skill.
The event was sponsored by GC Garcia.
