LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — UNLV's Harrah College of Hospitality will launch the country's first academic program in fast-casual restaurant management.
This launch is thanks to a $5 million gift from the co-founders of Panda Express and Las Vegas residents Andrew and Peggy Cherng.
The Cherng's say fast-casual dining dominates the restaurant industry, with further growth expected in a post-pandemic economy.
The gift will help establish the 15-credit program at the university along with hiring faculty.
