A groundbreaking will take place Wednesday on a new University of Nevada, Las Vegas building.
Hospitality Hall will have more than 90,000 square feet of classroom, laboratory and meeting space. It will be west of Beam Hall.
The hall will serve as a bridge between UNLV's Harrah Hotel College and the hospitality and gaming industry.
The estimated $57 million project is funded through a mix of state and private support. The Nevada Legislature approved $24.4 million in capital funds for the project in 2015, and the college has so far raised approximately $24 million in private support from gaming and hospitality industry partners.
