To better serve the multilingual aspects of the multicultural communities in which it operates, Uber has launched uberESPAÑOL in Nevada.
This new feature, available to residents and visitors in Las Vegas and Reno who have downloaded the free Uber app on their smartphone, will allow riders to request an uberX with a Spanish- speaking driver-partner.
"What this means for Uber is and us coming together is just what we're talking about. Job creation first and foremost," said Peter Guzman, president and CEO of the Latino Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas. "... But even more importantly or equally important is we're creating a service for our tourists and local community. Another option for transportation and getting in and around the city."
The goal of uberESPAÑOL is to make riding with Uber even easier for everyone.
Nevada joins California, Illinois, Arizona and Texas as the 5th state to offer uberESPAÑOL.
