Two more Henderson parks have equipment allowing for children of all abilities to play together.
Playgrounds at Hayley Hendricks Park and Saguaro Park have each been fitted with a Sway Fun Glider and ramp.
The Sway Fun Glider from Landscape Structures is the first wheelchair-accessible glider that meets all safety standards. Riders rock back and forth as quickly or as slowly as they desire.
The city received an $80,000 contribution from the Leonard family for the purchase and installation of adaptive playground equipment. The donation was made on behalf of a family member with special needs.
Other Henderson parks with play-for-all playgrounds are Paseo Vista Park, Madeira Canyon Park and Amador Vista Park.
