LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The STRAT hotel-casino unveiled a new statue on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Bob Stupak Avenue.
The piece titled "Look" was commissioned to honor the iconic tower.
"Look" was created to capture the awe one gets when looking up at the tower for the first time.
John Barry, principal of Kevin Barry Fine Art who oversaw the project said, "To understand this impressive piece, one has to be impressed by the sheer force and scale of the tower and the natural tendency to look upward in awe of this icon."
The STRAT is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation that is also causing those in Las Vegas to stop and look as well.
LOOK the new statue unveiled at @stratvegas is really cool. The gateway to downtown #Vegas and the #ArtsDistrict just got a little cooler. You have to go look at this! @KTNV @WickedCreative pic.twitter.com/CbrlxOyIyE
