The search is on for the next American Idol!
The chance for Nevadans to audition for Idol Across America is happening Tuesday.
Idol hopefuls have the chance to audition in front of American Idol producers over Zoom.
Patrick Lynn, the senior supervising producer for the show, says hopefuls should treat this as an in-person audition and make sure they're prepared.
"Be ready," he suggested. "If you have an instrument, have it ready. If you have an accompanist, have them ready."
"Pick a song that really shows off your vocal ability, and by all means - perform," said Lynn.
He also says it's normal to be nervous, but remember you're performing in front of regular people, just like you.
The live virtual auditions take place on Sept. 1.
