LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Barn Buddies Rescue at The Farm is in need of multiple volunteers for the month of October.
Barn Buddies Rescue is dedicated to the rescue of abandoned, abused or neglected farm animals in Clark County.

They provide housing, rehabilitation and holistic care for abused farm animals. The rescued animals live at The Farm in northwest Las Vegas on Grand Teton Drive.
They are looking for multiple volunteers for a variety of positions for every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They need approximately 25 to 30 each day.

The shifts are 7 a.m. to noon, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. Volunteers can take more than one shift.
Volunteers Needed for:
Cashier – Takes donations for visitors wanting to see animals, Checks out customers from Market
Concession Stand- Order Taker, Cooks, Server, Stocker, Runner – (Some position need Food Handlers Card)
Floaters – Takes water to volunteers, bathroom breaks, restock restrooms – Whatever is needed.
Hand Stampers -Verifies hand is stamped to visit animals)
Hay Bag Makers – Fills bags with hay and sells to visitors
Horse Rides - Leader-Leads Horses, Holder- Holds horse while Visitor mounts, Animal Clean-up – “Pooper Patrol”
Market Place Assistants - Helps Visitors with purchase, restock, keeps area orderly
Pumpkin Patch Assistants -
Ticket Seller -Sells “Ride Tickets” in front Courtyard)
Train Ride -Drives Train, Loader – Takes tickets, check seatbelts, explain rules, keeps cars clean)
Welcome Gate Greeter – Welcomes visitors, and oversees hand washing
