The Animal Foundation is at capacity with animals and is in desperate need of adopters.
The shelter currently has more than 1,375 animals in its care, with hundreds more expected to enter the shelter over the weekend. Currently, there are more than 120 dogs, 100 cats, and 20 small animals available for adoption.
In celebration of 4th of July, The Animal Foundation is discounting adoption fees for select pets during the IndePETdence Day special.
Beginning July 1 and through July 10, adoption fees for all animals (six months and older) waiting for homes four days or longer will be $7.
Adoption fees for dogs normally range from $25 to $250. Fees for adult cats are normally $25.
All adopted dogs and cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, uptodate on vaccines, and more.
An additional $10 city license fee may apply. Adopters must complete an adoption counseling process.
Adoptions can and will be denied in the even the placement is not in the best interest of the pet.
