LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A popular valley restaurant is giving you a chance to get in on the cooking action, and a new bar opens with rather unique look.
Las Vegas Lifestyle and Entertainment Expert Melinda Sheckells has her picks for Tasty Tuesday.
North Italia at Rampart Commons in Summerlin has become a neighborhood favorite for its pizzas and pasta handmade daily. If you aren’t dining out and would like to have these creations at home, order the $65 lasagna family pack and $65 pasta kit. This meal kit feeds 4 to 5 and includes a large Caesar salad, parmesan garlic bread, tiramisu dessert, and a choice of lasagna with herbed ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, and grana padano cheese, or pasta with a choice of tagliatelle, bucatini, rigatoni, or strozzapreti, and pasta sauce, bolognese, marinara, garlic parmesan cream or basil pesto. Some assembly required.
Oddwood at AREA15 from Corner Bar Management is now serving cocktails under a 25-foot-tall digital maple tree. Created by artist, Color + Light, the towering, twinkling tree has more than 5,000 individually-programmed LED lights. A favorite sip is the Yerba Santa with Blanco tequila, passion fruit, pineapple, and lime. Their signature cocktails are priced at $12 each. Oddwood is open daily from 4 to 10 p.m.
