A local hospital is honoring some of their own for all of their hard work.
Nurses and staff at Sunrise Hospital were recognized on Wednesday for all they did during the night of the 1 October shooting.
Each nurse was also given a $50 gift card to Zappos to get some new shoes.
"Everybody's laughing and smiling," said one nurse. "We don't always get that, so it's really nice when they do."
Sunrise Hospital is also celebrating its 60th year serving the Las Vegas valley.
