Splashdown for Kids to benefit local nonprofits

Communities In Schools of Nevada (CIS of Nevada) and After-School All-Stars Las Vegas (ASAS) are teaming up for Splashdown For Kids.

Hosted at Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas, the third-annual family-fun-in-the-sun fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 30. The $25 advance ticket price of admission will directly benefit the two education-focused nonprofits.

Local businesses and individuals have the option of sponsoring a school, allowing students in both the CIS of Nevada program and ASAS and their families to attend the event. With more than 58 percent of Clark County students in the free and reduced lunch program, this is an opportunity that many would not otherwise be able to enjoy.

Discounted pre-sale tickets are available online for $25 in advance; tickets bought at the door are $35. No admission fee is charged for children age two and under.

To purchase tickets, click here and enter promo code CISASASDAY16. The event runs from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
