PureCare Living, a Las Vegas-based healthcare management company, has started construction on Silver State Pediatric.
The new 22,442-square-foot skilled nursing facility will be located at 2496 West Charleston Boulevard.
The nursing facility will be the newest in Southern Nevada that specializes in post-acute care for children with traumatic injuries.
Pediatric patients in Southern Nevada are often transferred out of state to receive post-acute care for a trauma related injury. Silver State Pediatric aims to change this by allowing physicians to refer patients to their centrally located facility.
In addition to traumatic injury care, the facility will also provide services for long-term birth defects, cognitive care and physical care.
The facility is currently under construction and is set to open in the fall of 2020.
