The holiday season kicked off in Downtown Summerlin on Friday.
Santa Claus, the guest of honor, made his grand entrance at the holiday parade.
The parade will run each Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. from now until December 15. It'll run every night after that through Christmas Eve.
Kids can also get their picture taken with Santa at Downtown Summerlin, and even ice skate.
