PaintFest America, a 50-day/50-stop event designed to reach the families, patients and staff of cancer facilities, visited Nevada Aug. 3 at three Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada locations.
Multiple murals were supplied by the Foundation for Hospital Art at each PaintFest America stop for patients, staff and physicians to complete.
Additionally, a cancer patient and a cancer survivor partnered to paint a unique state-specific panel, which will include both the Nevada state bird and flower. That piece will be added to the 50-state mural “Stars of Hope” to be assembled in New York on the final day of the tour at the end of August.
