"It's been about 10 years in the making for me to get this bakery open," said Jenna Lamb, owner of the new Nothing Bundt Cake location at 7155 South Rainbow Boulevard.

Jenna is the daughter of one of the co-founders of Nothing Bundt Cakes - Debbie Shwetz. But she says that she never had it easy.

"This business started in our home kitchen when I was 14 years old," she explained. "I had the pleasure starting with this brand as a dishwasher extraordinaire."

Jenna worked guest services throughout high school and college, and eventually worked her way up to becoming the director of franchising. Under her leadership, the franchise opened location number 270.

Despite her success, she missed the operational side of running a bakery. So now she's back in Las Vegas with a new store.

The new location is open now, though grand opening festivities run from Sept. 7-9. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Sept. 7 at 5:30 p.m. And on Sept. 8, a "Bubbles & Bundts" event will run from 5-7 p.m. for those who enjoy bubbly with their dessert.

20 percent of the sales on Sept. 8 will also go towards Children's Heart Foundation, which helps children with congenital heart defects.

Finally, on Sept. 9 at 9 a.m., the first 50 guests through the door will receive free Bundtlets for a year. There will also be a "Family Fun" event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with face painting and a photo booth.
