LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Barn Buddies Rescue has saved farm animals from desperate situations for 50 years. But, with a food bill in the thousands every month, they rely on donations of money, food, and volunteers.
They open up Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shopping is always free, but they do ask for donations to see the animals. $4 for kids, and 6 for adults. Sales support the animals, and you'll see everything from peacocks to pigs. It takes volunteers about 4 hours every morning to clean stalls and feed the Farm.
You can shop around the market for free. You can get eggs, honey, jam, and much more. There aren't many places like this in Las Vegas, so it's also a popular spot for weddings and parties. If you book the venue, it helps feed the animals.
The farm is located at 7222 W. Grand Teton Drive in northwest Las Vegas. For more information, check out the Las Vegas Farm website.
